About us

Recent history of The Hilcote Arms

The pub was purchased in 2015 by Richard and Beverley Bradley AKA Brad & Bev who set about reinventing the building

As an old building brad told me that every piece of plaster board had to be cut to fit the diminutions of the walls

This was the start of the refurbishment double boarding the walls to keep the pub nice and warm in the winter months also keeping it cool in summer . New windows where added the bar area was constructed the gallery area had the windows replaced

Ladies and gents have been reinvented to a very high standard .Picnic style benches were added to the court yard beer garden

The pub was reopened in March 2017 Brad and Bev still remain very much hands on preparing and cooking the specials menu also preparing and cooking the Sunday lunches Julie Fletcher was appointed Manager in 2018

The final part of the jigsaw was the refurbishment of the snug room which houses the 3/4 snooker table / pool table plus the darts board .This room can be used for larger bookings for Sunday Lunch or private functions

So why not join us for a warm welcome  excellent food great selection of beers lagers wines and spirits cosy up around the log burner or maybe come in for our range of traditional pub games shove ha'penny pool dominoes snooker darts

You will also notice the 1966 juke box when you enter the pub this very much a talking point. Gifts can be purchased from brad's bookcase  in the dinning room or Bev's emporium cabernet in the bar area

We are also very proud to hold the top food hygiene rating of (5) which we have held since opening in 2017

We extend our welcome to our regulars and  also looking forward meeting new customers

From The Hilcote Arms Team. Come and meet Mine Host Brad and Bev Manager Julie Fletcher on Sundays our newest member of staff Izzy

The Hilcote Arms can trace its history back to 1873 with documents showing alcohol being served from this date the same date that

Heineken brewery was established
