The Hilcote Arms an Historic Village pub that dates back to 1873.

Nestled away in the village of Hilcote with its close proximity to the M1 Junction 28 and just a few minutes walk from the Blackwell Trail and neighbouring villages of Westhouses Newton and Blackwell

With state of the art flat screen tv's in the bar snug lounge and dining area also in the court yard beer garden.Playing back ground music designed to create an ambience without being over-intrusive

The vintage mantel clock chimes on the hour adding to the relaxed atmosphere

Accessibility is a clear priority the pub offers mainly step-free access for wheelchairs and pushchairs

With the only exemption being the gallery having a step down at the entrance to the men's WC

To ensure a comfortable visit regardless of age or mobility needs

Being family friendly we offer a children's menu along side our specials and Sunday lunch menu's.

For the younger members of your family highchairs can be provided and baby changing facilites are available within the ladies WC.

With easy access from junction 28 of the M1 motorway go east bound of the A38 signposted East Midlands Designer Outlet At the roundabout take the 2nd exit past McDonalds onto Berristow Lane for about 1 mile as you enter Hilcote Village you will find The Hilcote Arms situated on New Lane and on the corner of Hilcote Lane satnav reference DE55 5HT

We are also just a short drive from The Holiday Inn Hotel South Normanton

 The bus service runs from Designer Outlet past The Hilcote Arms then to Blackwell and onto Matlock

To celebrate the mining heritage of the Village of Hilcote you will find Coal Mining museum close by

mining heritage site to Mansfield is the Pleasley Pit in Pleasley,

which features a Coal Mining Museum, restored winding engine house, and colliery buildings with exhibits on mining history and local communities
